my56k and 56kdialup Email Changes
Its pretty simple, we are changing servers. We sent out an email but there appears that for some folks there may be some slight changes you have to make.
Here are the settings you will need to have in your configuration. These apply to your client email only, there are no changes to webmail or to your dialup service:
- Username may have to be in a new format username+domain.com rather than username@domain.com
- Incoming and Outgoing servers are still mail.my56k.com
- However, outgoing email requires Port 26 (instead of 25) and to check the box "my server requires authentication" to send mail.
- All other details should be received by referencing the email sent out - thanks!
Remember, while this transition is occuring you can always get your mail by visiting the webmail at http://webmail.my56k.com
